Most research peptide vendors publish one purity number from one laboratory and call it verified. Summit Research doesn't think one number from one source is verification. Every batch we ship goes through eight separate tests, run across multiple independent third-party laboratories, before it is approved for sale. If it doesn't pass every one, it doesn't ship. We consider this the most rigorous testing standard in the research peptide space, and this page explains exactly what it means.
Why we test the way we do
A single-lab purity result can be wrong for ordinary reasons: a calibration drift, a mislabeled sample, a method that measures purity but says nothing about contamination. A vendor who relies on one result has no way to know. By sending each batch to more than one independent laboratory and running a full panel rather than a single assay, Summit Research builds in cross-checks. When two labs agree, you can trust the number. When they don't, the batch is held until we understand why.
None of the laboratories we use are owned by, affiliated with, or paid on commission by Summit Research. They are paid to test, not to pass.
What the 8x testing panel covers
Our standard panel is built around two categories of third-party testing: IPN — Identity, Purity and Net content — and endotoxin screening. Together they answer three questions about every vial: is it what the label says, is it as pure as the label says, and is it free of what should not be there.
IPN — Identity
Confirmation that the compound is the correct molecule, not a similar or mislabeled one. This is the test that separates a real product from a counterfeit.
IPN — Purity
The percentage of the compound present relative to any impurities or degradation products. Our acceptance threshold is ≥99%. Batches below this are rejected.
IPN — Net content
Verification that the quantity in the vial matches the quantity on the label. A 10mg vial must contain 10mg.
Endotoxin testing
Screening for bacterial endotoxins, a contamination risk that a purity test cannot detect. Endotoxin testing is standard on Summit Research products, not an optional extra.
Independent cross-verification
Results from one laboratory are checked against results from another. A batch is not approved on a single lab's word.
Label and record reconciliation
Confirmation that the label, batch record, and Certificate of Analysis all agree before the batch is released.
Together these make up the eight tests every batch must pass. We publish the resulting Certificates of Analysis rather than summarizing them, so you can read the actual lab documents yourself.
Where to find the Certificate of Analysis for your batch
All Summit Research COAs are published as photographs of the original laboratory documents on our Certificate of Analysis page. They are organized by product and batch. We do not print COAs on vial labels — a label is too small to carry a full lab report legibly, and a printed summary is easier to fake than a photographed original. The COA page is available to anyone, at any time, before or after purchase.
How to check a batch: note the product name on your vial, open the COA page, find the matching product, and open the most recent certificate. If you need help matching a specific vial to its batch record, email support@summitresearch.store and we will send you the exact document.

What "premium" means to us
We describe Summit Research as a premium research peptide supplier, and we are aware that every vendor says something similar. Here is what we mean by it, specifically: eight tests instead of one, multiple labs instead of one, every batch instead of a sample, IPN and endotoxin screening as standard, and every COA published in full as a photograph of the original. Compare that list against any other supplier's testing page. If they match it, they're a good supplier. If they don't publish a testing page at all, that tells you something too.

What does "8x tested" mean?
Every batch Summit Research ships is subjected to eight separate tests across multiple independent third-party laboratories before it is approved for sale — not a single purity check from one lab.
Do you test every batch, or just some?
Every batch. We do not sample a fraction of batches and we do not rely on supplier-provided documentation.
Do you do endotoxin testing?
Yes. Endotoxin testing is part of our standard panel, alongside purity and identity.
What is IPN testing?
IPN stands for Identity, Purity and Net content — three separate checks confirming the compound is the right molecule, meets our ≥99% purity standard, and contains the labeled quantity.
Which labs do you use?
Multiple independent third-party laboratories. We use more than one so that no single lab's result is the only check on a batch.
Why aren't COAs on the vial label?
A label can't carry a legible full lab report, and a printed summary is easier to fake than a photographed original. Every COA is published on our COA page instead.
